ABOUT US

Santhome School Sangli is affiliated to the Council for Indian School Certificate Examinations (ICSE),New Delhi. It is owned and managed by Sangli Mission Society. The members of this trust are Catholic Fathers belonging to the Missionary Society of St. Thomas The Apostle (MST).

Formal education is one of our Missions. We believe in all round development of children, to inculcate the virtue of human dignity, equality and a sense of brotherhood in the young generation, which are the three icons of our democratic country. The course of study followed in the school is in accordance with the syllabus prescribed by the council. The school prepares its students to qualify for the ICSE examination.

Santhome School is named after Saint Thomas, one of the twelve disciples of Jesus Christ who came to the southern part of India in AD 52. He was a dedicated follower of Christ who professed his faith by the words "My Lord and My God".
